Privacy notice
For the waitlist page and the emails. Version 2026-10-22.
1. Who is responsible
The data controller is Davide Becchio, Italy. Contact for anything about your data: hello@retestlab.com.
2. What we collect
- Your email address.
- Your choices in the form: which free guide you asked for (the backtest checklist, the trading-bot guide, or both), whether you want the weekly email, and your confirmation that you are 18 or older.
- Which version of the page you saw (we test two headlines, A and B).
- Proof of your consent: the date and time you signed up and confirmed, and which version of the form text you agreed to.
- When you open the page, our hosting provider handles your IP address and the technical request in order to deliver the page and protect it from abuse. We don't receive these logs and we don't use them to identify you.
3. Why, and on what legal basis

You can withdraw any consent at any time with the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email, or by writing to us. Withdrawing doesn't affect what happened before.
4. What we don't do
- No cookies, no analytics, no advertising pixels on this page. Fonts and everything else are served by this site: your browser doesn't contact anyone else.
- No tracking of whether you, personally, open our emails or click their links: per-person open and click tracking is switched off in our email service.
- We don't sell or rent your email, and we don't share it except with the providers below.
- No automated decisions about you.
5. Who processes your data for us
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France), our email service. It stores the list on servers in the European Union. Some of its own providers are outside the EU; those transfers are covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
- Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., United States), which hosts this page and passes the form to Brevo. It processes IP addresses to deliver the page; transfers to the US are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses.
Both act only on our instructions, under a data processing agreement.
6. How long we keep it
- If you don't confirm your email, the request is deleted within 30 days.
- While you're subscribed: until you unsubscribe, and the waitlist itself ends 24 months after launch at the latest.
- After you unsubscribe: we keep only your email address and the dates of your consent and unsubscribe, for up to 24 months, to prove them and to make sure we don't email you again.
7. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format (articles 15-21 GDPR). Write to hello@retestlab.com; we answer within one month. You can also complain to a data protection authority: in Italy the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it), or the one where you live or work.
8. Adults only
RetestLab and this list are for people aged 18 or over. We don't knowingly collect data from minors; if we find out we did, we delete it.
9. Changes
If this notice changes in a way that matters, we'll tell you by email before the change applies. The version and date are at the top.
